Sorry, not in the mood for fighting, I had a pretty good day - I got assigned eight bugs that only took a half hour to fix because they were actually only two bugs that manifested in different ways, then I went out to dinner with my brother and his family which went well despite one niece dumping ketchup all over herself and the other niece dumping ice cream all over herself (ordinarily they'd be upset by this, but today for whatever reason they didn't seem to mind being covered in ketchup/ice cream)

Well, I actually had a pretty good day until about 430 PM or so. Then the rest of the day has been a ****stain rolling down a valley of turds into the river of piss. That has been my day today.

I'm a victim to a very serious event which occurred several weeks ago, but I was unaware of until now for which I am considering filing a police report. It involves a now former friend. I have been threatened by said former friend with serious professional consequences for reporting, and as far as I know I am the only witness willing to challenge his interpretation. Reprisal is a serious possibility in the near term. I have already reported the threat to my employers and they are aware that I am under duress at present. There are other witnesses but I am uncertain as to where they stand.

I am debating whether to report which will have extremely serious consequences for my former friend, or whether simply severing ties and moving on will be sufficient. I do not believe the incident will be repeated in the near term or is indicative of this former friend's normal behavior. I am not even certain whether this former friend has done as he claims he has done. I have to consider the possibility that this has occurred in the past with others and that my impressions are wrong.

It's all a big muddle at present, but suffice to say, someone I trusted turned out to be very different.
