I'm still convinced someone was cheating in the first Intersite game. I can't remember which team it was, but someone had a round of basically perfect results on us that pretty much knocked us out the game. I had thought it was Poly, but thinking back it was probably Grenouille who were the either luckiest people in existence or a bunch of slackjawed cheating ****s.

I don't remember enough of the details I'm afraid, it was a long time ago and CDGroups doesn't exist any more for me to check. I just remember us meeting an opponent army and them basically destroying the bulk of our forces in a single turn despite being equally matched. It left a sour taste.

You got wiped? Unlikely you were on Poly's continent then. There were two others on our landmass and only the Brazilians got wiped earlyish.

I can't recall the name of the third team, but it was some very, very obscure little site IIRC. They had some good players though.

Yeah thinking about it more I have a feeling Poly was off to the east of us somewhere and Firaxis to the west. I'm pretty sure it was Grenouille who knocked us out.
