North Carolina clergy challenge state's anti-gay Amendment One on basis of religious freedom.
Although, amusingly, it let to Mr Fun sending me a Facebook message complaining about Apolyton when he got called out on his "It's been 3 hours and no one has responded to Meeeee"-ness.
Though that was before I got uber-pissed at him (and reamed him out) for turning a Facebook article I shared into a gay rights discussion.
Good to see you respect the purpose of PRIVATE messages on the Internet. Do you also have a habit of sharing Apolyton private messages to/from you here, too?
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
I don't understand the objection to "anti-choice" for the other side of the issue.
It adds nothing to the dialogue - nobody in the history of the internet has been swayed by being called "anti-choice" or "anti-life" or "anti-women" or "pro-murder" etc. All these terms accomplish is to give a sense of smug self-approbation to the person using them.

You want to talk about smug self-approbation? How about how anti-choice people co-opted the term "pro-life" for themselves, as if they're the only ones who are "pro-life?"

If one believes that abortion kills another person, then yes, pro-life is entirely correct.
Would you call antislavery activists, anti-slavery, or abolitionists? Would you call gay rights activists, anti-Christian or pro-rights?

Why not? You've already said you're in favor of outing the private statements of your enemies. Sauce, goose, gander.

There's no point to dialogue in America wrt to any of that. Thinking you are better than the other person is the whole point of having a thought on the matter.
