Satisfying an aspie is. You can try to define the conversation on your own rude terms, and I can walk away because you're not worth putting up with.

How is that possible? Nobody has even offered a definition except me. There haven't been any nits for me to pick yet.

      • I can't believe this ****. It's rude of me to ask somebody how they would define a key legal term? This isn't a petty detail either; the meaning of premeditation is at the root of the entire discussion.

Just a reference to whatever throw-down we had a few weeks ago about I-don't-remember-what.

            • I tried to answer - not being satisfied with the form of the answer does not make you the boss of me and the rules of debate - that we're hardly observing anyway. Please understand that, with all respect, I'm not invested enough in this exchange to go to any trouble to placate your emotional needs, given that ill-advised adult crack, for example.

You always seem to debate like you're angry, Felch. Talking to angry people is not my idea of a good time.

Now, let's see if I manage to post this w/o getting ninja'd again. Made in reply to post #108.

              • I also don't remember what we were arguing about, but I do recall bonding over True Detective. You mean that you're holding a grudge over something neither of us can even remember? Where's the ?

I'm not angry with you. Sava can make me angry. DaShi can make me angry. Those guys are smart, they know how to twist me up, and I honestly respect them. You're not as smart as they are, you don't know how to twist me up, and honestly I don't respect you (yet). I'd like to see you nut up, take a stand, and argue with me like a man. Own your position, and do your best to either persuade me, or shame me into shutting up. Make me angry. I'm a big boy, and I've been posting here a long time. I can get into a bitter deeply personal argument with somebody, and have the sense of mind to know that it's not really that important. Like with Guy a few weeks ago, I don't remember what it was, but he was seriously pissing me off, and I loved it. Guy challenged me, and forced me to think hard about what I thought was true. And afterwards we agreed that True Detective was awesome (although it looks like he may have held onto a little of that anger). To me, this is like a wrestling match. We're all just exercising our brains, challenging our assumptions, and hopefully we come out of it all a little smarter and a little more thoughtful about other points of view. But nobody gets hurt, and nobody should feel bad about any of this. If you think that's just trolling, fine, I'm a troll. But I'm an honest troll who wants to challenge and be challenged. I'm not afraid of jumping into it, and I don't hate people for making me look like a fool.

                    You dig what I'm saying?

                    • I dig that you think it's your world and I just live there.

Good luck enforcing your little Felch rules. I'll continue to decline playing your aspie games with you unless the whim otherwise strikes. -That's not your call, either.

I'm not holding a grudge at all. Just amused to be observing this argument from the outside.

                            Ahhh, memories.
