Yep...what can I say. People from Tennessee may have a conservative perspective, but we are actually pretty open minded. The only thing we really can't stand are the "We are right and you are a dumbass if you don't see it" liberals that refuse to be equally open minded.

Dismissing something that is wrong isn't the opposite of being "open minded".

You are one of the least open minded people I know.

Really? Hmmm...I try to be open minded....and Poly has certainly changed my thinking on a lot of things. I will try harder. Thanks Dashi.

I see nothing in the OP that isn't applicable to any other western nation that considers itself a democracy.

The level of corrupt money buying politicians here is more extreme than in most western countries. We truly have legalized bribery and then pretend we don't have an out of control corruption problem which is bringing the country to its knees.

Duly noted that ever since I called you on your Ft. Hood hate speech
Uh. You were the one cheering on the fact that it was Fort Hood because it meant more Texans dead.

Personally, I'm not sure why one would want to cheer terrorists killing American citizens unless one also supported the use of terrorism against his political enemies.

                          I'm done being civil.
Oh. Are you going to skulk back to Texas and lay a bomb or something?

It's the price of freedom, not that you understand, being too busy engaging in talk that should have embarrassed the disgraced McCarthyites 60 years ago, had they any shame. Do you know how much contempt I hold you in, you confused hater-in-the-name-of-the prince-of-peace, you sad perverting-love-into-hate dupe of Satan? Watch this.

Things can be done to lessen the impact, like campaign spending limits.
