That's such a non issue I didn't make it past the 1st paragraph but it appears religious beliefs were put forth for refusing to take the pictures.
If my religious beliefs say I must bitvh slap any bespectacle man I see but the law forbids it, the law takes precedence.
Anyway why make such a fuzz?
If one doesn't want to shoot gay people (as in photograph) another collegue will do it (and get the money).

I did find out that it was about a religious issue, something that I didn't assume before.
OK. If you want your religion to supercede state laws do away with church/state separation and live by the sharia or whatever code the bible says.
Religion is a personal matter, state laws are formulated by the dominent moral consent of any given society.
I'm called a fascist because I hold this view?

The constitution in the first amendment protects the right to free exercise of one's religion. A photographer cannot legally be required to take pictures that are contrary to her Christian faith.

Sharia law prohibits conversion from Islam, and permits Islamists to execute those who do not follow their religion, ergo Sharia is contrary to the constitution of the United States.
