      What a clown.
Russia is one of the most fighting nations in history of human kind. We always fight, 'cause we always under attack from one way or another.
God gave Russia to the Russians because who the hell else would want it?

Russians do have the mentality that they are always under attack though...that much is true. However, no one is attacking them or even wants to these days. The pressure the Russians feel now is the rest of the world attempting (once again!) to try and get the Russians to join the civilized world. Naturally, russians think this is an attack on them

Putin's thinking and Serbs thinking are prime examples of out of date thought. Perhaps one day Russia can join the family of nations...they are making progress. But that day will not come with Russia STILL invading its neighbors and trying to BS the world that they have justification for it.

We all know that Russians perceive the world as one giant conspiracy. The point is that they're stupid and wrong for looking at the world that way. Nobody is out to destroy Russia, they're just reliving decades old delusions. The sooner they wise up and join the rest of civilization as a responsible global partner, the better off everybody will be.

EDIT: Okay, PLATO beat me to the punch.

Putin's actions and Serb's thinking reflect reality from a Russian perspective. Their home has been a battleground, repeadedly, and that informs their views of events especially on their borders.

I would say a sizable number of Russians would like nothing better than to live in peace and prosperity with their neighbours. They would genuinely like better relations with the West and most everybody else. However they have a tendency to view the world suspiciously and telling them that the price of their admission to 'the family' is them accepting NATO (a recent rival and enemy) on the Dnienper River is likely to receive a FU response.

No, they're not stupid for learning from experience. If you want to understand them you might seek to understand why they view events the way they do, and what prompts their behaviour.

          • They are not learning from experience if they're trying to relive the heyday of the Soviet Union, and they are delusional for thinking that the territory of Ukraine and Georgia is somehow theirs, and they are failing to understand the cause-effect relationship between trying to exert hegemony over their neighbors and their neighbors trying to join NATO.

Russia's foreign policy has always been to treat allies and neighbors like a wife: the more you beat her the more she'll love you. In this regard they have DEFINITELY not learned from experience.

Jesus ****ing Christ, we all understand them, you're not special. It's not like you're the only person on this site who knows a little something about Russian history. The Russian experience was no worse than the Polish experience, but the Poles learned the right lesson. Poland learned to embrace democracy and the security of befriending the west. Russia is just a nation gripped with an unhealthy paranoia. Stop making excuses for them, their behavior is inexcusable.

              • Russia is like the French in the aftermath of WWI. "Oh poor us we got invaded, now we deserve to wreck our neighbor so we'll feel safer".

                • Exactly, and that sort of thinking will do them as much good as it did France.

Nobody wants to exterminate Russia anymore. There's no reason at all to view the west with so much hostility. It's a case of evil men stirring up hatred against foreign nations. Putin and his brood are monsters.

That's a stupid term. If I listen to a broadcast online, it's not by receiving radio waves.
