Not sure why his point is so difficult to understand. Two objects can move at different speeds, and at different accelerations, but that doesn't necessarily mean they don't cover the same distance. Income inequality is to acceleration as wealth is to distance. Measuring the change in income over time. Someone who strts near the finish line isn't necessarily one who will have a high income, whereas someone who is trying to catch up will.Sure.
