You know that any kind of political propaganda and political actions during the Olympic games is against the Olympic charter, not the Russian laws".

He doesn't presumed that athletes will be interested in children sexually, as you have assumed when you read your article. He says it's ok to popularize your sexual orientation among other adults, but not among the children and it doesn't matter if you are gay or straight if you do so - it's against the law.

He doesn't. He is answering the question (and I assume that was a dumb question of one of the western journalist sorta like - "would gay athletes be arrested in Russia" or something like this). And he explains that we don't have any discrimination because of sexual orientation - you can agitate for your way of sexual life among other adults for all you care, but if you do that among the kids - you are breaking the low REGARDLESS of your sexual orientation. Basically he explains that hysteria in your media is nothing more than a bullsh!t.

Well, fine!!! Then why so much noise then? If you are born gay you won't become straight and vise versa. What is the problem, if you have no intention to agitate for your way of life among kinds?
This law basically says - it's up to parents to decide when and how exactly to explain their children all things about sex. And if you came to a school or kindergarten (or make a book, or something) and start your agitation among the children - you pay penalty, cause it's non of your business (who the hell ever told you about the "you'll be jailed" part of this law?). How it's not fair?

OMG!!! No one says gays are interested in children.
I'm saying that whole hysteria is just plain stupid. It's a huge soap bubble. Ok, we have a law which says you can't agitate for homosexuality among the kids. You call that discrimination, compare us to nazis, etc. So, if this is the discrimination, in this case that assumes to stop this discrimination we should abolish this law to let anyone agitate for his sexual orientation among kids.
