Maybe not entirely correct here - but the Stamp act was passed by parliament without the consent of the colonists, withdrawn and then restored and replaced by other taxes. And some of the Sons of Liberty were killed in the conflicts prior to the revolutionary war. And yes, tea was one of the commodities which were subject to the tax.

What's the beef here, or is this one of the usual, "tell lies about conservatives who get the broad strokes correct, but miss a fine detail along the way?"

This is the beginning of a plan to make violent overthrow of the government seem OK by recasting our history
And Jefferson's quote on 'watering the tree of liberty' does not? For all the hue and cry about 'rebellion' levelled against the south - they did nothing that wasn't done by the Yankees.

Yes. 40's now. Not too long until I hit 50.

This depends on your definitions of 'head', 'blown', and 'off'. B. Clinton wrote a book on this topic.

Jefferson owned slaves and boned one on the reg. I'll take his outdated ideas with a grain of salt.

Ahh, Fox. Propaganda for the stupid by the stupid. Glossing over the errors in their description of the Boston Tea Party... I would like to know why they never seem to know the difference between England, Great Britain, or the UK because they incorrectly use those names as if they were interchangeable.

This is an interesting issue within epistemology. If what you "know" is certifiably insane and untrue, do you actually "know" it?
