    Chris Christie thread

    So he tried to stick it to some mayor by closing lanes and creating traffic headaches? What's this about now?

    But now he's going through the stages of grief because his staff betrayed him?

    Thankfully, this will probably ruin his presidential bid... even though I have no clue what happened or why I should be mad.

    He was probably the only chance the Republican party had to make it a close race in 2016. (They still would have lost, because they are fail)

    I guess the lesson is, if you are trying to be President, don't get involved in petty local political BS.

            Sava's endorsing Christie already? Can't say I'm surprised. He probably endorsed Romney as well. Man of the people.

                The woman is a goddamn moron, but I doubt Christie was personally involved. Similar essentially to the IRS story with the Obama admin, although possibly more egregious.

                    And if they really wanted to destroy his presidential bid they would have sat on this longer. It will be forgotten way to soon.

                      Have people started calling it Highwaygate yet? Dear god, I hope not. I couldn't stand to see a word that stupid on a newspaper headline.

                      Someday there will be an "airportgate" and people will just get very confused.
                      If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

                        This was perpetrated by his friends, not an IRS office in Cincy dealing with a flood of citizens groups wanting or getting exemptions from the law, a situation either perpetrated and/or used by big money to influence politics. The solution to that imbalance of power is to vote with our $$$, boycott the big money.

                        I smell a rat, I have a really tough time believing Christie didn't order this. I'll even bet $$$ those words in the email about time for a traffic jam in Ft Lee came straight from his lips. And the response, "got it" sounds like somebody responding to the boss, the real boss - his buddy from the old days, the guy who fell on his sword.
