Even if it was getting colder, since when was "religion" nothing more than holding onto a belief regardless of contrary evidence?

That's what I'm saying. Global warming activists take it for granted that we're all gonna die unless we change our behaviours. There's no evidence that:

1, people are the primary driver of the climate. Changes in temperature over time follow most closely solar radiation.

2, the climate for about 300 years previously was considered to be abnormally cold. You used to be able to harvest grapes in England in Roman times. Having temperature increases from a low would be restoring the climate, not destroying it. All the changes are within the normal fluctuation.

3, there's no evidence that warming has continued past 1997 when taking into account Pinatubo and El Chicon.

4, we are in an abnormally warm period called the Holocene which is an interglacial.

When taking all 4 things into account, why are people so worried? I don't get it. I didn't understand it fifteen years ago and I do not understand it now.

It seems to me that it's all just religious faith.

That sounds like how an atheist might caricature religion and not how religion is understood by a sincerely religious person.

Given the charts showing fluctuations in global temperature and fluctuations in solar radiation with agreement of 90+ percent, what evidence is there for anthropogenic global warming aside from wishful thinking?

No, no it is not. It is going down in both volume and in area. There is a refreeze in winter, and that is what the lying wing nuts you listen to call "the ice is growing", but the over all trend is less volume and less area even in winter but especially in summer. In other words, the averages are trending down, dunce.



See each of those little up ticks when refreeze happens in winter? That's what the lying deniers claim is "RECOVERY!" but the over all trend is definitely down as any half wit can see. That's just the area too but the story about volume is even worse because the ice is much thinner, even in winter, so the parrenial ice is disappearing and the refreeze in winter is thin brittle ice which completely melts in summer instead of lasting like the old thicker ice did.

There's a massive difference between reducing risk of cancer, and what nutrition is needed whilst being treated.

Cancer patients often need a lot of help with nutrition because of the effects of different drugs and one of the common problems is lack of protein and lack of appetite. So suggesting a vegan diet which requires large amounts of food to gain enough protein for people who have high protein requirements but low appetite is not necessarily a great idea.

When my mom was getting chemo and radiation therapies she could hardly keep anything down at all even for a day or two after each treatment. She lost a lot of weight and she was never over weight to begin with so, yeah, proper nutrition is a big deal for many cancer patients.

Single year variability isn't an indication of the overall trend. 2011's minimum extent was a stunning record low, rebounding a bit from that, is no big surprise, the trend is still clearly reducing.

Some people will be too thick to understand that.
