I'm regularly wished 'a Happy Christmas' by Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims, atheists and yes, the occasional Christian. I doubt many Christians are even aware of the date of Yom Kippur, unless they have Jewish friends or live near somewhere like Stamford Hill or Golders Green or Prestwich.

Oh and plenty of kosher (and halal) butchers 'accidentally' and 'providentially' happen to have turkeys for that non-Jewish holiday.

Pope Benedict XVI has reinstated four bishops from an archconservative breakaway wing of the Roman Catholic Church, a decision that is bound to stir controversy within his own flock. But Saturday's announcement that the Vatican will undo the 20-year schism between the Vatican and the so-called Lefebvrian movement is all the more sensitive because it comes only days after the broadcast of an interview in which British-born Bishop Richard Williamson, one of those Benedict is bringing back into the fold, denies that the Nazi Holocaust ever happened.

"I believe there were no gas chambers," Williamson said. The bishop, who has been accused of anti-Semitism in the past, declared that the historical evidence was "hugely against" the accepted belief that close to 6 million Jews were systematically exterminated as part of Adolf Hitler's Final Solution. Williamson claims that no more than 300,000 Jews died during World War II.

More better late than never stuff from the caring, sharing Vatican :

The phrase "perfidious Jews," which had appeared in the Good Friday liturgy, was removed by John XXIII from his first Good Friday service as pope in 1959.
The revised version was so much more polite :

Almighty and everlasting God, You do not refuse Your mercy even to the Jews; hear the prayers which we offer for the blindness of that people so that they may acknowledge the light of Your truth, which is Christ, and be delivered from their darkness.
The phrase 'perfidious Jews' was not in 1962 Catholic Missal and thus will not make a comeback if the Latin Mass does.

                    Coughs politely :

14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

                    15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
What exactly do you do with a scourge of small cords ?

How do you drive people out of a temple with it ?

If not with it, why make it ?

                    As a fashion accessory ?

This is supposedly your son of god- allegedly with the power to transform materials, to increase the amount of food available miraculously, to even restore life to those dead for days.

And here we see him having a hissy fit and throwing himself about, like a belligerent drunk at throwing out time. Tsk tsk, Yeshua- take a chill pill baby.

Are Christian churches found to be built over former pagan sites of worship ? A simple yes or no will suffice.

Is Easter named after a pagan god (in English that is) ?

How about St Valentine's Day- what pagan feasts might that 'coincide' with ?

Would this be those 19th Century English Protestants who happily erected 'authentic' Christian Christmas trees (see Germanic pagan myths) and brought in Yule logs & yew branches (see Germanic pagan myths, again) ?

You have no idea how ****ing stupid you sound right now. Any employee of a sizeable media company pretty much without fail has written into their contract clauses about not harming the reputation of that company. That's the case in Europe where we have considerably stronger employment protections, so the idea that it wouldn't be the same in America is pretty goddamn dumb.

Media companies are hugely defensive about their public relations and reputations. If their company name gets tainted with homophobic or racist statements by their employees then they risk being hit by boycotts by customers, lose large advertising clients and a whole raft of other financial penalties that have a very real impact on their bottom line.

Please try and avoid making stupid statements about things you have no knowledge of and clearly do not understand.
