The battery's fine. The radio and everything turns on. It doesn't need a jump start. The engine won't turn over.

My money is on the starter. Try it a few more times, sometimes there's a start or two left in it.
I just lost mine but I tried to start it about 15 times and I got it started to drive to the shop.

lol I tried it like five or six times, waited a bit, tried another five or six times--you're right, probably the starter. It's been taking longer to start lately but I assumed that was because of the cold. Guess the starter died.

Can you see the starter? If you can, get a mallet or something else nicely hefty, and hit it.

Starter motors can be prone to sticking. A good smack can get them going (temporarily, until they stick again).

I used to drive Italian cars- always had to keep a mallet in the car for that.

I hope a Honda is a little more advanced than any italian vehicle, especially if a mallet is necessary to get it started.

How do you think Honda starters work? Magic?

Having enough juice to run the radio isn't enough to crank the car. Don't ever leave town. You would perish on the open road.

Could be as simple as a burned out fuse. Do you have the owner's manual in the car or are the fuses labeled? Sometimes there's even a spare fuse or two in the compartment or you can swap a nonessential fuse for the starter fuse.

Recommending to someone who's not that experienced to start swapping out fuses may not be the best advice.
