The original article described her previously living in real poverty and living from motel to motel. Nothing in your article contradicts that. Her original article described her as working two jobs and struggling to meet her bills. Nothing in your article contradicts that either.

Maybe if you and your party gave a bit more of a **** about doing something about poverty instead of holding witch-hunts against anyway who dares to share their stories, then you might win a national election again sometime this century.

Seriously, do you actually understand how much a **** you sound when the biggest emotional response any of this provokes in you is 'HA! She's not even that poor!'?

Sure you can, just statistically it's far less likely.

How am I supposed to react to a woman posting exaggerated claims of her struggles as a woman with virtually no income claiming that she is “a poor person,” and “that is all I am or ever will be” (when none of these claims are true) and then proceeding to bilk compassionate rubes out of their money.

That does not jibe with actual numbers on, for instance, the fact that we are wealthier now than we were [x] years ago.

I'd love to see those figures, because last time I checked real term incomes for most people have been falling for several generations.

            • Yeah that's obviously false because people 25 years ago didn't have cell phones and they were still paying out the ass for long distance. Just as an example, there's all sorts of other **** we have now. People are way way wealthier thann they used to be. Phonepostin' so I don't feel like typing more.

              • Oh boy, now we have cell phones and cheap long-distance communication. That's a huge consolation to people who are struggling to make rent.

But she didn't bilk them, DinoDoc. Don't you get it? It was a voluntary exchange. Money for her and the good feeling of helping a wealthier person climb up the ladder for everyone else.

It's good to see that Kentonio is embracing his true roots of crony capitalism through fraud.

Also, Kentonion is a good username.

Followed with indignant protestations of how it is the greater truth and anyone not believing the truthiness of the original story is a heartless monster.

It's a good thing Kentonio is a rock ribbed conservative insulated from humanity and love by his cold, ebeneezeran heart. Otherwise it might be embarrassing.
