        he was basically the most punchable kid in middle school. Which makes it all the more baffling that he had a tendency to lash out violently with people.
        You might want to reread this sentence in your head, HC. I was that kid in school. The only effective means of stopping bullying that I ever found was smacking the bully. Do it a couple of times and you're done and don't need to do it again.
