Serbs are Orthodox, speak Serbian, and love Stalin. Croats are Catholic, speak Croatian, and love Hitler.

Serbian and Croatian are virtually the same language; I think the key linguistic difference between Croatia and Serbia is one uses the Latin alphabet and the other uses Cyrillic.

Some pronunciations are different. But it's like different regional accents for Americans. Russian is similar enough too... like an American listening to some unintelligible UKer.

And yeah, it's the same language for the most part. But Serbs speak Serbian. Croats speak Croatians. And now Bosnians... another made up people... just Albanians or Muslim Serbs who don't want to be called Serbs. So yeah... they speak Bosnian.
