      Honestly I find people in other countries are often more expert at cooking the cuisine of the country of interest, if you're looking for 'high quality', because they don't have any of the bad habits of the natives. It won't be "like mother's", just like a trained english speaker won't use "ain't" and "y'all". So it depends on what you're looking for.

      This is not true for Chinese cooking, in my experience, however.

                Sometimes I think the posters hanging on the walls in the break room at work are snobbish because they never say anything to me.
                A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.
