I'm pretty sure methane has a lower atmospheric residence time than CO2. Like, way shorter. Like 50 times shorter. Like 8 years versus 400 years or something like that. Water vapor is one of the strongest greenhouse gasses but its atmospheric residence time is something like 20 days so nobody cares about it.

We just need to run our oil pipelines under dairies and ranches instead of through corn fields ... the explosions will take care of the belching/farting behemoths. Win/win
