I don't think Obama is any more likely to launch nuclear missiles without cause than Britain's queen. And besides, would you rather have Prince Charles in charge of nukes, or Obama?

Still Charlie. I'd rather have Bush with the codes than Charlie though.

Who are you worried that Obama is going to nuke? Or are you worried that he's not going to nuke somebody?

I believe Obama is far more likely to nuke Americans than Charlie. Obama would also be far more likely to sell nuclear secrets to enemies of America abroad.

Obama's against the death penalty so I think he's also against the megadeath penalty.

That was my concern as well.

edit: for clarity, I'm not concerned about obama not nuking someone, but that Ben was thinking Obama wouldn't nuke someone.

You are extremely suspect... just another royalist, monarchy worshiping traitor.

The Queen withholding assent on any bill would be very large news and you can rest assured that someone in Parliament would have raised a huge stink.
I was just trolling kentonio. But okay.
Once again, I find the article highly suspect.

Honestly, beliving that an elected president are better at making serious decisions is pretty stupid

Edit: HC posted something just before me proving my point
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

At minimum, our process weeds out the people who can't take the pressure of intense media scrutiny. Considering our president has the world's largest nuclear stockpile in his/her control, this is very good. It's a lot better than some inbred island scum whose only claim to power is generations of inbred island scum... going back almost a thousand years when their ancestor invaded and slaughtered the previous inbred island scum.

BTW, I find it so weird that people actually defend this crap. Seriously. Drag the royals and their sycophants into the street and shoot them all.

It's not a perfect solution for a utopian future, but it's a very good start.

                          QFT.

Also, more importantly, power can transition without violence when you have a stable democracy. That's actually the biggest benefit.

the best part is ben always talking about how he's "a texan" but he's a monarchist, I'm pretty sure that disqualifies him from being any variety of American period.

he should go back to Canada, if they'll even take him back.

Yeah, the best leader is of course the one that can manipulate the medias Now, get back to reality, the leaders we select are of course those that are the best of humanity.
