The market has spoken. He found a publisher, so he's more qualified.

First Thoughts, from First Things. If you hover over the blue text at the top of DD's link, you'll find it. I mostly follow them for their links, since they tend to go on a lot about subjects like contraception which don't interest me, but at times they say something that interests me.

As one of the commenters from the FT post pointed out, Reza's knowledge of Greek (and only Greek) makes him woefully underpowered as an NT scholar. I have an old college friend with a master's in ancient religions*. He used to have the full list up on FB--he seems to have taken it down, but IIRC he can do ancient and modern Greek, Latin, Aramaic, and something called Syriac. There might have been another one in there too.

So, I actually just happen know a dude who's significantly more qualified to write this book than Aslan.

*Yes, he's rather underemployed at present. On his behalf, let me just say **** YOU FOR ASKING.

Interesting. Will check it out. I've loved First Things for a long time now.

Perhaps one should re-examine one's personal beliefs if they are taking their theology from a creative writing professor. There are far, far better sources out there.

Yes, I've been published before. Some time ago now. Got published nationwide in the National Post up in Canada.

Certainly no bestsellers. The market has spoken.

I don't write much fiction these days.

                              That would be a first.
