  • OK, this is freaky. I saw a picture of Rachel Jeantel for the first time. My immediate thought was "she looks like jabba the hutt". Apparently millions of other people already knew this...

    • In particular the pic I saw was the initial still here http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/15/justic...l?c=homepage-t

Pics from the trial I just found make her look far less like jabba.

        What happened 30 years ago?

        • Probably should have said 40, but basically, Pentagon Papers, Miranda v. Arizona, Gideon v. Wainwright and so on, all of which were more popular with liberals than conservatives. Now we have cases like Citizens United and this Zimmerman thing and the roles are reversed.

This could be because they spend all their HR capabilities in their search for flight attendants ... not much time left for picking the pilots.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow did exactly that tonight, she even brought up the murders of James Byrd and Matthew Shepard to endorse a federal hate crime prosecution of Zimmerman. She pointed out how the killers of Byrd and Shepard were convicted by the Feds, she just didn't mention the killers weren't acquitted by state courts beforehand. But with George Zimmerman? Who cares about the acquittal... And she had on Ben Jealous from the Naacp and let him lie the entire "interview", he even said the police dispatcher told Zimmerman to stay in his car.

I hope he sues NBC and wins big

You mean they actually told him not to follow Martin, rather than telling him to stay in his car? Not exactly Watergate, is it?

Since he agreed to stop following Martin ON THE TAPE when they told him to, it is rather significant, don't you think?
