    Yep.

Damn, gribbler beat me to it.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

So it's a slightly better education than a Catholic school in Texas?
Our students have to pass the same exams as all the other Texas students. I've had a pass rate of about 95 percent or so which is significantly above average. I've had two students fail in 3 years now.

This gives you a better idea. I have the second highest pass rate at my school again, still behind the same really amazing teacher. I don't believe she's had anyone fail in 5+ years now.

example question on a texas biology exam:

true or false, the world is 6,000 old
                  answer: true
To us, it is the BEAST.

These are samples of the social studies questions fwiw.

If you're going to attack Texas, at least be informed as to what the test actually teaches.

Why? He might actually know the topic well even if he falls short in other areas. After all, isn't the topic the thing which really matters for a teacher?

Many states even water down the test to such a basic level it becomes a joke. That means they can announce a 99% passing rate and their rankings go up in the No Child Left Behind rankings while the states which actually enforce hard and meaningful standards only get 70% passing rates so their rankings go down. I sure as hell wouldn't want my kids going to the "everybody gets an A" school though.

those students probably don't even know that texas was founded by slaving raping illegal immigrants
