The stock price has also pretty much been stagnant over that time periode. Windows/Office cash cow is hardly going to collapse overnight, but the traditional PC is stagnant and MS has signally failed to break into the mobile market. It has been moderatly succesful with game consoles, but the previous incarnations of the Xbox weren't the coolest kids on the blocks and it doesn't seem like this one will be either.
