Why Would A Cat Drool On Me?

One cat that I have, a female about 3 years old, gets up in my lap and meows. I pet her, which she enjoys, and then she drools on me.
Does anyone have any idea why? I know that I could try Googling. I'm a big Googler. I thought that I would ask here though.

What I need is an expert on cats that drool, and whether they drool or not is irrelevant to me at this point.

The drooling is a childhood thing for cats as it facilitates suckling milk. Basically, your cat is still showing child like behaviors instead of the behaviors of an adult cat. Kitty thinks Slowwie is her momma and hasn't had to grow up. Did you buy the cat young?
