Do our resident conservatives and republicans truly believe women are biologically suited to be barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen?

So is recorded history, over scientific hypothesis. Expand on the hypothesis, record the results for analysis. Faith isn't as big a leap as some would make it out to be.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

Perhaps you can provide an example of how a sun-like star becomes a red giant.
Are you saying that a G-type main sequence star is a different species than an A-type main sequence star?

The difference between the same star at A and G is simply one of age. Stellar 'evolution' is a misnomer. The star isn't transforming it's nature, it's simple getting older.

And in a single sentence Ben illustrates just how poorly educated and idiotic he really is. Want to go for the title champ and start talking about how the banana was designed by God for the human hand?
Science requires observations in order to be verified. Do we have an example of a monkey turning into a person? No. Ergo the belief that men evolved from monkeys is simply an article of faith.

You seem more critical of scientific facts than of a magic book that tells you all sorts of fairy tales.

And you consistently demonstrate a gross misunderstanding of both! That's the hilarious part. You suck even at faith!

So when you say, "this is what I think," you actually mean, "this is what Catholic Bible canon tells me to think."
Actually, I was taught this by my Mennonite church. First time I heard a sermon on Ephesians 5. Probably back in 2001 or thereabouts. Long before I ever joined the Catholic church.

So it would be more accurate to say this is what my Mennonite church pastor told me to think.

I believe that a husband should lay his wife down for his life. I've seen and read about plenty of examples where a husband did just that - laid his life down so that the woman he loved would survive. I've always on some sense believed this is what true love means, long before I ever became a Christian. If I had to sit down and point to a teaching that convinced me that Christ was the real deal - the teaching here that a husband should be willing to die for his wife would be very high on that list.

                You suck even at faith!
I'm not quite sure what you are trying to accomplish here. Yes. I already know this. To some people it comes easily. To others, like myself it does not. I envy those people.

My point isn't to insult you or make you feel bad. But you speak about so many issues as if you are humanity's connection to God. How about showing some ****ing humility? I think Jesus was pretty big on that.

For an older person, faith comes easier, for a reason. Many times I've thought that I was done and it turned out OK. I've had more times to experience it than a younger person. The younger, the more a leap of faith. I somewhat misspoke again earlier.

I prayed for the Hawks to win... but prefaced it by saying I would rather people stop dying in Syria. Sometimes I think God just wants you to have a little perspective. It's like, he shows us this awful world with people getting blown up, mangled in car accidents, brutally shot to death, babies getting microwaved... but yet, here we are wishing for a sports team to win a game.

I think the lesson is, don't be such an *******. And even if you can't help it (LIKE SOME OF US), do your best to be aware of how much you suck and try to offset it in other ways... like be liberal. Because the authoritarianism inherent to conservatism is pretty ****ing horrible. It's hard to imagine any of those people not going to hell.
