Nope - like I said I lived with a very nice Russian lady in 2003 when I was in GVRD, and after I left Vancouver School of Theology in April of that year where I was staying when I went to UBC. Why did I move again? I was happy there. I moved to be closer to UBC which was a mistake, but I didn't see it at the time. My friend did and he was concerned about me. Interesting, I probably wouldn't have ended up here in Texas and I'd probably still be an evangelical protestant had I stayed there. Wish I had. 2004 was not a good year for me.I guess Ben is worried about his reputation so he won't put up the hammer and sickle. What a moron.
I used to attend Willingdon Church out in Burnaby from February of 2000 to about May in 2004 thereabouts. My friend who took me there was a UBC lawyer who was a Russian Mennonite and we went to the Russian ministry and then to English ministry afterwards. Then to lunch with his Russian friends, then home. I found it too difficult to keep up on my own when I didn't have a car and rode bus out in the am and back in the pm on Sundays. It made for a long day that part of my life.
I started attending the Catholic church off and on after I moved away from Burnaby, and exclusively in June of 2004, did RCIA for the first time. Then in 2005 did RCIA the second time and joined. Haven't thought about that time in awhile. Where I am now must be reminding me of that time.
