Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I haven't been doing it for awhile, except for occasional days when I realize I haven't eaten anything that day and decide to to carry it into the next day. I'm still eating healthy, no binges except Thanksgiving, and I haven't regained any of the roughly sixty pounds I lost. Two weeks ago I went on a short uphill walk with my 15 year old niece and my younger brother, climbing from the ground level of Union Station in KC and on up the hill to the top of the Liberty Memorial in ninety degree heat; they were dying and I was mocking (I do regret that). I had to wait for them to catch up several times! What's with kids these days?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.
one is fat because he has no control. he has no control because he is resigned.
When he stops being resigned he regains control and then he is no longer fat.
(i've never been fat but I had some extra kilos)
now that I think about it, that goes for everything
Maybe you should seek to find out how and why it is thought to work first, before pouring scorn on it?
Clue: there is more to the concept than first meets the eye.
It "works" because the average number of calories burned exceeds those taken in.
However, there are many other better ways to accomplish the same goal.
Most other aspects of "paleo" are crap... just like every other fad diet. Paleo diets can be good (good, meaning it meets one's particular needs)... but not by virtue of what they try to be.
Being healthy isn't a particularly difficult thing to do, in theory. Translating a particular strategy to a behavioral change is often the challenge.
Sorry for ****ting on something you like. But if you are at all an intelligent person, you'll realize what I'm actually saying and not get butthurt.
in essence, I'm saying "team paleo" is stupid and full of **** (to the extent that if they are correct, it is by accident).

You're basically bored, aren't you?
Firstly yes, if that was what we were talking about.
But we're not, exactly.
So, instead of lazily shooting from the hip, get clued up about this thread...

This isn't about Paleo, it's about various forms of alternate day fasting.

I agree, that is why the challenge is to gain the specific health benefits theorised from fasting for at least two days of the week. Losing weight should only be a side-effect - not the main reason for doing the diet.

Yeah, you're not paying attention to the thread (to the extent that you've forgotten what it's about) and basically lazily spamming about stuff you can't be bothered to find out sufficiently about to actually have a cogent argument about.
So I'm not butthurt (that would be alternate day fisting!), merely amused that you're so spectacularly missing the point.

I'm agreeing with you (to the extent that they are not correct - hence my link)
