And you're a prime example. Is that poetic?

Not that I am defending MOBIUS...

It matters that he was a teen because teens are still at the age where if they are doing stupid ****, there's a high probability they will straighten out and become good citizens. And that there is basically nothing as emotionally devastating as a parent losing a child.

However, legally, it doesn't matter that he was a teen at all.

You mean a good citizen like you? What makes you a good citizen?

Not a criminal, pays taxes is sufficient for me.

Of course. Hint: not being a criminal doesn't mean you are good. There are plenty of creepy things you can do that are legal.

You'd just lie down like a poodle and scream "oh, please don't hurt me"

Why don't you atone for all the sheep you've shagged and help your buds out by clearing minefields in the Falklands?

I hate to agree with Reg and HC, but if someone broke into my house in the middle of the night I would want to be allowed to shoot them dead and to shoot them dead if they don't curl into a whimpering ball pleading not to shoot them after a warning shot.

This is just a terribly unfortunate event for all involved.
This, although the warning shot stuff sounds like probable bull****.

ftfa: he and his friends were so drunk they didn't recognize his house. HIS FRIENDS DROPPED HIM OFF. Drunk driving much? Irresponsible kids being irresponsible and suffering consequences. How often does the story end up with some drunk kid slamming into another car? It's happened to me twice. Good thing I'm invincible.

"I thought you must be dead ..." he said simply. "So did I for a while," said Ford, "and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."
