I have three laptops open on my desk and side table, which seems a tad decadent to me, but I'll bet some of you have more.
As I upgrade I keep the old ones going until they fall over. The oldest has no fan or working battery. It sits on a fan base and uses mains power only, but has a big screen.
I'm using this one, the newest, to post, hang out, check out the news, U-tube etc. Unfortunately I paid someone 100 baht ($5) to put windows on it, which is all in Thai..
The second comp I'm using to work, mainly managing E-mail, I'm buying a house. It has the good printer with scanner. The second printer is an old laser...
On the third comp, the big one I bought at Camp Eggers PX in Kabul, I have a game going all the time, currently either Total war or Call of Duty II...it still has Kabul's filthy dust on it.
The laptops aren't networked because they all dogs with different fleas, different operating systems etc. and I don't want them conflicting with each other. But they all have the same Wifi source. The newest comp has the cable.
For no particular reason
