The SimCity 4 interface could certainly be described as clunky, but having trouble finding fire stations is one problem I've never had. That part seems fairly well organized.

I bought the game, Deluxe Edition, I was pretty fu***** dumb.
Anyway, just came here to express my sadness about this SC2013. I realized it as soon as I played win Simcity 4 this weekend, with Network Addon Mode installed. And, except for the graphics, it felt so much better than SC 2013. I was engaged to my city, I was free, I had so much space to build, playing with traffic was so much better. I don't know why, but I also missed the line charts which were showing pollution, traffic, education levels.
Sim City 2013 reminds me of Civilization 3 vanilla when it got out. A lot of things was acting strangely and many bugs plagued the games. But with times, the developers and many fans finally created a "playable" games, which I really like after it got patched. But, for Sim City 2013, I'm pessimist. The games seems broken in its core. There is only two things that I can find enjoyable playing this games:
1- Trying to find bugs and other oddities in this games.
2- Go to a random region, scrap the experience of other players by creating a city plagued with pollution and crimes, which should scrap the entire region.
The last video, which was posted by Wiglaf, comfort me a little. Maybe, the fans could take this games and make it better by fixing several issues.
I have started a city in SC4, and I am more excited to play with it, than with my city in Sim City 2013...
@Sava: What a nice ass you got there

With everything that has come out (inadequate servers, unnecessary servers, multiple game features eliminated to facilitate play, not needing industry or commercial zones, building outside of city tiles being found, terraforming tools being found, absolutely hilariously awful pathfinding), it seems like this was shoved out the door to meet a deadline. I read somewhere--maybe it was even Wiggy here--that EA's fiscal year ends in April.
