    Not so sure that is correct. As I have said, the physical assets probably would have drawn some attention. You are correct in the aspect of the money being high priced though...

        At the time, I was working on around $300 million of projects stalled in financing because of risk overreaction from lenders. In theory the Chinese could have taken over one of our historical flagship companies, but I'd rather see GM still mean General Motors rather than Glorious Mao or whatever the **** they'd do with it.

        The money was there, but the willingness to gamble on the debt side wasn't, so equity players stayed out too.

                    Apparently BK doesn't understand the meaning of going up.
                    When priced in USD. Perhaps professor Kidicious can inform us what happens when you price something against something else which is declining in value.
