Nope. 28 at the time of commissioning is the cutoff without needing an age waiver. I'll be 27.991, decidedly not 28 and therefore didn't require a waiver.

I don't think you'd find modern ROTC to be that different from OCS. It's the same stuff spread out over four years, with a 4 week course called LDAC between your 3rd and 4th years

Nope. OCS comes first. You commission through OCS and then attend The Basic School as an officer.

And I highly doubt NROTC is anything like OCS I wish I could help you understand how it's like two different worlds. Think if ROTC was 24 hours a day with Marine instructors and you would get maybe half of how different they are.

Nope NROTC and Naval Academy go to OCS, too. Every Marine Officer has to do OCS.
