Union dues used to fund strikes, serve as a safety net for workers, and generally fund activities that all union members could agree to. Now it's just a fund raising device for one of the two main political parties. A party that one third of union members oppose. But you still think that anybody who doesn't pay up is a "free rider".John Brown did nothing wrong.
