If they're the good guys, then they have nothing to fear from right to work laws.
    John Brown did nothing wrong.

Far better than the payback one receives from increasing worker salaries at least.
Don't give all the credit to Obama. Corporate cronyism on regulatory and other political matters is a time-honored bypartisan tradition that goes back to, say... the Jackson administration? If not earlier?

You'll note the cronyism is proportional to the size of governmental scope.

I love this... now conservatives are blaming Obama for crony capitalism .

Give me something more than strawmen. And don't whine about ad hominems, at least until you learn to construct better strawmen.

And the answer to your question is no, nobody seriously thinks that. Sorry you take things so literally (must be that public school education ), but I was using the absurd to illustrate the absurd - your notion that "pay given over to a political party you don't support" as if the unions are taking substantially all of a worker's pay and funnelling it striaght into the Democratic party.

The absurdity is two-fold: First, that you think anyone takes seriously the notion that Walker or any of the other right to work proponents care about a couple of dollars a paycheck for the average union worker - which is on the high side of the proportion of union dues which get channeled to union supported PACs and direct donations to candidates.

Second is that you think anyone takes seriously the crocodile tears shed over how tough it would be for those workers to get different jobs if they feel so upset that the union supported a Dem candidate for congress with a few pennies of that particular worker's per-paycheck contribution. If this was any other issue, say the owners outsourcing or relocating to increase profits, you'd be cheering the capitalist system at work and suggest those workers should suck it up and get another job instead of feeling entitled.

                          Now?????

Have been since 2009 and stimulus. Not a new thing. Big Corps... Banking, pharma, automotive, clean energy to name but a few. Small businesses meanwhile not so much.

Fortunately the economy was growing leaps and bounds so that any of that was forgotten. Just like today... NVM.

Because the workers don't own the capital, the investors do? The workers don't (or shouldn't) earn some magical property right in the firm's capital just by being hired.
I wasn't being literal. I was illustrating the absurdity of whichever troll it was' argument that the worker should have some special dispensation if he doesn't like how the union spends dues money. Apparently, union dues are the only instance in this glorious right-wing paradigm where once an individual has spent money and passed it on to another entity, that individual should have an absolute say in how the money is used or else a dispensation to opt out of the payment, while retaining the benefits of that payment. Ah, the something for nothing worker's paradise.
