  • benghazi conspiracy = birthers

Yeah, too bad it was General Petreaus boinking a biographer and not Obama. Then Republicans could waste $70 million investigate him just like Clinton... and once again waste massive amounts of money grinding a political axe.

    It's really pathetic.

"Obama is a kenyan islamosecular socialist nazi pants!"

Sure. Sure he is. And what kind of fukturd political party would lose two elections to such a person?

It's sad. America would rather have a secret muslim president than a Republican.

Oh wait. That's not sad. That's fricken hilarious.

And the whole Benghazi thing appears to be about semantics. After the attacks, Obama didn't pay us lip service. He didn't offer us hokey metaphors about how he was going to "smoke out" the TERRISTS SCUM responsible.

Republicans are a great opposition party. It suits them well. Complain, whine and moan about everything! Maybe one day, they'll get on the right side of... well... reality.

Or they can keep losing elections. In 50 years, we'll talk about the Republicans like we do the Whigs.

    Gone!

America. Love it or leave it.

    GET THE FCUK OUT

    whiny crybabies
To us, it is the BEAST.

The sad part is some fine people died in Benghazi and now their deaths have been turned into a political football for some lame partisan point scoring, I hate that.

This thread is idiotic. The controversy is over the fact that for weeks the President insisted that the attack was over some video, and then proceeded to have the man who made the video that nobody watched and nobody cared about arrested on trumped up charges! This is despite the fact that it was obvious to everyone else that it was a terrorist attack. And that multiple organs of the government knew that it was a terrorist attack and possibly knew about it ahead of time. Considering that calling it a terrorist attack doesn't fit with the administration's everyone-hates-us-and-it's-our-fault worldview, and also that it doesn't mesh well with saying Obama has been a hard-charging foreign policy success, there are multiple unseemly explanations for the lack of transparency from the administration.

          Republican state of mind

While that could be sane for a moment, it's apparently their perpetual state

Indeed. There simply is no scandal there at all despite the right wing noise machine's attempts to blow smoke.

Uh, yeah, I suppose an American ambassador in an American Embassy is killed every day, Sava.

If we're talking about incompetence or bad intel or bad judgment in the time preceding and during the attacks, that's fair game. And presumably the committe has the testimony to deal with that now.

Dwelling on the aftermath is where it gets political. True or partially true, the screed I'm hearing from the right is in poor taste and non- (or counter-) productive. Especially that "ZOMFG if he didn't lie Romney would have won" crap.

I'm not sure of the trumped up charges bit but otherwise I agree with you.

DD cherry picks an opinion from a victim's family that supports his Republican-partisan bias. I'm shocked; simply shocked.
