No, I did not. He's simply more inclined to think people are insane and dangerous if they happen to be Muslim.

The fact you call that civilized is a perfect example of why you are a deeply unpleasant person.

what evidence do you have for this? of course you have none, because the new government has only just entered power, so perhaps a better question is, why do you believe this?

is it, by any chance, because the party of the new president has the word 'muslim' in it?

How long does egypt need to be further impoverished by instability and strife and how many minorities in Egypt need to be repressed before you admit that Mubarak kept the country relatively stable and peaceful?

the economy was collapsing under mubarak. why do you think the revolution happened?

your defence of him is very weak. mubarak was a dictator who imprisoned, tortured and killed his opponents. his regime stole from the people and denied millions a better life through their theft and incompetence.

What the ****, I wasn't defending them. They had the trappings of civilization, like agriculture and industry.

I'm aware of what happened in the holocaust, thank you.

Um...no? That is completely not what I said. Reading is fundamental.

And don't interpret this as me saying other kinds of dictatorships are okay too. I don't like dictatorships. They can be preferable to the alternative in certain circumstances. (usually the alternative is another, worse dictatorship)

Well you already said you liked the Mubarrak dictatorship, so logically either you like oppressive regimes with a certain level of agriculture and industry or else you think Egypt is a barbaric nation of hunter gatherers. Please clarify.
