The same as I feel about the people who were offended by this, I find them judgemental and narrow minded. I'm not defending these people, I'm trying to point out that the shallow lines about arabs being savages and 'hating our freedom' are stupid simplifications that ignore a huge amount of history and basic human understanding. What rights and freedoms did we in the West give a damn about when we funded the Mubarak regime? What about the rights of the people who were tortured and killed under that regime held in place with US dollars?

I don't know if this has been answered, but the media reported that he was being helped. Actually his dead body was being parraded. There is no evidence of anyone doing anything to help.
