The problem with Ryan is the same problem with every politician ever: he's a complete ****ing hypocrite.

And how's that? I don't see anything hypocritical about Ryan at all. Are you referring to how his mom is on Medicare or how he took in Social Security? Is he somehow hypocritical for trying to keep these programs solvent?

No, I'm referring to how he voted for every budget-busting proposal W made, like every other member of the GOP.

There is this and I find it hard to swallow a number of his votes particularly the Prescription Benefit fiasco Bush rammed through. His claim was that he had to vote for it to make his ammendments pass to make a dreadful bill merely just horrible since Bush threatened he would go make the Senate bill sans his ammendments go through otherwise. F - Bush.

Yeah, I lay the blame there solidly on Bush.

How convenient. Something bad about his record isn't his fault.

QFT. I respect him more than most politicians because he's at least talking about ways to fix the entitlement cluster**** that's going to screw our entire generation, but I'm highly skeptical that anything will be done to fix the problem even if Romney/Ryan wins this year. I'm almost certain nothing will be done to fix the problem if Obama/Biden wins, however, so figuring out the lesser of two evils isn't that hard this time around.

Isn't there a debate where all four go two-on-two?

If you really think it is going to make a goddamned lick of difference when it comes to entitlements, you are far more gullible than I ever believed.

The only practical differences between the parties now--in how they actually govern, as opposed to their rhetoric--is on certain social issues. On actual spending? Might as well stay home and jerk off on Election Day, you'll have bettered your life my a significant margin compared to actually voting.

EDIT: "certain" social issues, not all of them.

Where did I say that didn't apply to Obama? I thought I've made clear my contempt for both parties.
