I suspect "domestic terrorism" will turn out to be a white guy that didn't like ragheads.

This is another US mass shooting.

That's exactly what it was. Exvept the "mass shooting" was interrupted by police. I chalk this one a qualified win.

What is the appropriate length of time then? The measure given has already passed but its apparently not enough...

That's dependent on the victims' and assailants' perceived nationalities.

Tch! Fine, but dammit, I had two awesome snarky comments prepared. If anybody beats me to them, I'm totally holding you accountable.

No one is saying you can't post...only that you are tasteless if you do.

Fine. I understand the pro-gun crowd would like to not discuss this as it is yet another example of where their policies lead. I find their concern for the victims disingenuous quite frankly.

I'm looking for the thread on the recent Toronto shootings. I wonder if I will find some hypocrites therein...

The number that die due to mass shootings is statistical noise. That two happened within two weeks is a statistical anomaly. That this happens at all sucks, and is something we should worry about, and may or may not be indicative of some characteristic of American culture.

You still haven't answered the question btw.

At what point is it not "tasteless"?

The bodies are cold now so apparently we need a longer measure. What is it?

If it was only 2 in two weeks that would be a good point.

While being a partisan douche is objectionable, if people aren't going to discuss the merits of gun control now when are they going to? Never?
