    British like to eat curry.

How about that one? Can't say that, either?

The literature behind the majority of Blacks opposing gay marriage rights and the cultural/religious reasons for this is strong. I already cited numerous polls and studies. You also see it discussed in the writings of many Black intellectuals and pundits, including the Black gay writer Horace Griffin, such as in his Their Own Received Them Not: African American Lesbians and Gays in Black Churches.

        What a silly stereotype.

Let's ask our British posters if the generalization that "British like to eat curry" (compared to other populations such as French or American) is apt or not.

Meanwhile, to get back on topic:

As a fraction of population do you think there are more Gay Whites, Gay Latinos or Gay blacks?

Not relevant. How is it relevant?

I already responded. There are many gay Blacks. That doesn't mean that the majority of Blacks are in favor of gay rights.

Like I said, maybe you should read Horace Griffin's aptly-titled book. There's a lot of literature of Blacks and the gay community, and the status of gay Blacks in the Black community.

Not sure where you're going with this or the relevance but the answer is both. There are a body of people with general commonalities (a community) but there are also cultural aspects (music, fashion, etc.) that are generally common among gays, making it a culture, as well. Of course, gays are not a monolithic group, but no group of people are, whether we look at Cambodians, Democrats, Pentecostals, Cowboys fans, or whatever else group some people associate themselves with. Such nitpicking, though, is silly.

I guess now that you gave your stamp of approval for idiocy, everyone here will lambast me but I don't see what's controversial or wrong about anything I've said.

MrFun makes a thread about a teenager who was probably shot because he was a black kid in a gated community... and Al decides it needs to be about MrFun's sexuality and how this somehow would make him dislike blacks... and then Al wonders why anyone would think he's a bigot.

I made the original thread before this thread about this topic. MrFun posted in that thread. MrFun then posts this as if we didn't already discuss this days previously. I posit a theory as to why MrFun forgets the causes he supposedly cares about: that is, he doesn't actually care but acts like he does for show.

And since there was already a thread about this topic (that I started!), there's no point in having this thread serve MrFun's original purpose. We already have a thread to discuss the shooting of Trayvon Martin.

Your theory sucks. Why would anyone care about their image on Apolyton? You obviously don't. It's far more plausible that MrFun simply forgot about the previous thread.
