I grew up within range of a TV station from Buffalo and every night on the news they would show video of house fires in Rochester. It was the strangest thing.

"Fires in Rochester, Cheektowaga and North Tonawanda. News at 6:00"

When I worked (as a lab temp) at Nabisco in New Jersey, I learned that a permanent QC lab position had opened up at the Milk Bone plant in Buffalo.

I asked a friend who worked in Milk Bone R&D (yes, Milk Bone R&D) if she would put in a good word for me.

BTW Drake should like this: It seems hipsters aren't the only ones with bacon obsession. The people who really, really obsess about bacon are... Vegetarians. They even call bacon a "gateway meat" and more vegetarians lapse back into meat eating for bacon than any other meat product.

They do have several different types of imitation bacon which doesn't use any sort of meat in them but they're all pretty rubbish so it's no wonder the veggies come back looking for the real thing.

Have you two been watching the show Doomsday Preppers? There are literally thousands of people in this country who feel they shouldn't save for retirement and instead feel they need to stock pile food & ammo for the coming apocalypse. We're talking everything from rednecks who stuff a 2 year supply of spam and ramen noodles in their double wide to rich folks spending several million on nuclear proof bomb shelters.
