You start with a fresh multigrain bread you cut yourself into about 1 inch slices (the thick toast helps to balance the cheese), smear on some unsalted room temperature butter on the outside, the cheese was shredded aged English farm house cheddar & a smear of swiss reclette (make sure both cheeses are at room temperature), cook on medium heat in an old fashioned cast iron frying pan. I never thought the Today show was worth anything but in this case they were spot on. ****in' A, I'm going to make another one because I'm a little piggy.
