So you know it's crap and still choose to sell it to an unsuspecting American public? Outrageous.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

        • I'd rather string them along for a while. Make them fear deportation if they lose their jobs so they work twice as hard and pay more taxes.

BTW no college is a "Catholic institution" but a separate line of business from the Church even if it is loosely affiliated. The Catholic Church also owns three banks in this country as well as one of the largest venture capital funds. Are you claiming those are also church functions with an exemption?

To insure against health emergencies? You know, like how every other form of insurance works?

edit: I see KH already beat me to this, and with a far better and more vitriolic response. ****ing *****.

So you're saying we should repeal Obamacare?

I'm always in favor of a better system. Repealing Obamacare alone is not a better system.

                    • Of course it is. Before Obamacare, insurance companies were more free to cover whatever they wanted and consumers more free to decide which plans they wanted to buy.

                      • Consumers were hardly more free.

Of course they were, millions of consumers were free to die due to an inability to afford healthcare.

And free to choose what hand to have their sex monitoring chips implanted. Under Obamacare, it's always the left.

Of course they were. How many people are going to be forced to buy expansive healthcare plans that they don't want or need by the insurance mandate?
