Well, he did criticize Sting as a lyricist. I don't know the whole Police repertoire, but Every Breath You Take is kinda creepy. It's right up there with Blondie's One Way or Another ("I...will...drive past your house, and...if...you're not around, I'll eat all your peeeeeets.").

Given that "Rabbit [and pork]" is supposedly rhyming slang for "talk", it would appear to rhyme in cockney.
Anecdotally, I pronounce York and talk in a similar way. I would pronounce talk and torque the same way, for example.
