Having lived in France I'm certainly aware that there are dangerous areas, and heard talk about the police not entering certain areas.
There are hundreds of "sensitive urban zones" few of which are truly "no go" with most requiring that police operate under special procedures.
I'm also a little curious about why this is particularly relevant to the Muslims.
It's relevant as an example of Europe's existence as a "shrine to racial harmony" and my post didn't even mention Muslims or Islam. I was merely curious where you felt the existence of a large number of largely of officially recognized racially segregated ghettos played into the model of racial harmony and integration vs America.
I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio
Except they aren't 'officially recognized racially segregated ghettos', rather areas where large numbers of immigrants have settled and because of which the police try and act in a sensitive way. France have some real issues with their immigrant populations, but as I pointed out before they have a vastly larger muslim population than America, and yet there is far more anti-muslim political rhetoric in America than there is in France.
The Constitution was written in 1787, some 4 years after the end of the Revolutionary War.
Point taken; my memory isn't perfect. The point remains: the matter was deliberately avoided by the drafters of the Constitution. Even at that time people were discussing the possibility of a civil war or split as a result of slavery. It neither expressly legalised or abolished slavery--it left it to the States to do that. Each of the States had a different policy and laws on the subject. Slavery was not codified in the American Constitution as it was enacted. Equally the Constitution did not deny citizenship to blacks: the Supreme Court did in Dred Scott. If lawlessness judicial decision-making is an immeasurable good then what is the Dred Scott case? Or is it only lawlessness when you disagree with the political effect of the decision?
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier
Funny that you mention Jews though, as both the UK and France have both had Jewish Prime Ministers. How many Jewish Presidents is it you've had so far?
Benjamin Disraeli knew what was good for him, he converted to the C of E in his youth.
Most people don't know it, but Karl Marx was a raised as a Lutheran. No, I'm not claiming that Karl Marx was prime minister of France, but mosat people think that he was Jewish.
The idea that America has more racial hatred than Europe is hilarious considering that a racially motivated shooting war happened there within all of our lifetimes.
Compared to America we are indeed a shrine to racial harmony. If a politician in any of the major western European countries came out with some of the **** your reps do, they wouldn't be able to get a job mowing lawns afterwards.

As for Muslims, the percentage per population is..
Russia: 11.7%
France 7.5%
Germany 5%
UK: 4.6%
USA: 0.8%
So who exactly is so anti muslim? You'll also find our politicians don't go around referring to muslims as terrorists like a number of yours do.
Headscarf bans, bans on mosque construction, anti-immigrant rhetoric and policy that puts America to shame, all sorts of anti-Gypsy laws and demagoguery lately. Oh yea, Europe is some paradise. Shall we look at how many race riots Europe has had in the last decade compared to the US?

This is patently false.
Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands all have anti-immigrant, (and principally anti-Muslim immigrant) parties which acquire a significant portion of the vote.
“In a democracy, I realize you don’t need to talk to the top leader to know how the country feels. When I go to a dictatorship, I only have to talk to one person and that’s the dictator, because he speaks for all the people.” - Jimmy Carter
