      • No, she'd probably vote for the Libertarian candidate; but the prospect of a Santorum Administration would cause her to specifically vote against the GOP.

Goes without saying. She married me.

She just gave me my combination birthday/Valentine's gifts: a **** ton of Elmore Leonard books, Justified and Archer on Blu-Ray, and 15-inch tall statues of Brock Samson and Molotov Cocktease.

I'm beginning to think that I may just be the luckiest son of a ***** on Earth.

She should remember that last time they nominated Bob Barr.

            • I think she actually abstained last time due to that very reason.

              • And the Green Party nominated Cynthia McKinney. I thought the allure of voting 3rd party was supposed to be that they didn't serve up such **** sandwiches.

Its likely to be Gary Johnson this year.

And Rosanne is running for the Green party nomination.

What a load of horse ****. The insurance company pays for it as a preventative measure because they understand that one pregnancy with absolutely no complications can run them $30,000 plus but a birth control pill costs them about $0.50. Guess who comes out ahead on that? The insurance company.

                        • I have no idea what conservatives see in Santorum. All I see is "Obama victory".

On economic policy he's only marginally more conservative than Obama--he talks about tax breaks to manufacturing and other gimmes. Not okay. He's only conservative in the icky "I hate gays and people I don't understand very well" way.

I'd like Gary Johnson except as I recall he's pro-abortion. That's a deal-breaker for me. If he were the Republican nominee (fat chance) I'd vote for him over Obama, though. I won't waste my vote on a third party, however.

This isn't a free lunch this is a clear cut case of cost containment and even you know it. $0.50 << then $30,000 so most insurance companies will take it any day.

BTW just so everyone knows where the GOP stands today Mitch McConnell said he supports a Republican bill that would let any employer ban contraceptive coverage. That's bull**** but it is their real agenda.

That whole social issues thing is pretty big to a lot of conservatives.

                              • Oh, and speaking of the Republican agenda lets not forget how they want to take away over time pay and even minimum wage reguirements for thousands of workers simply because their boss is a huge Republican donor. That's just political corruption plain and simple.
