I'm guessing Kidicious supports the war on drugs without regard to the damage it causes to Mexican bodies.
One of the things future generations are most likely to find disturbing is our continuation of the Drug War after it was shown to be so ineffective and socially destructive. Marijuana is one of the chief sources of income for those gangs, and there is no earthly reason why we shouldn't just let honest farmers grow it instead.

The war on drugs will never end. Or maybe it will if the government ever gets powerful enough to abolish privacy and win the war on drugs.
So Dr Strangelove, if it takes two joints a day for twenty years to see harm, would that mean "There is a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or other substance under medical supervision?"
Let's face it. Legal sanctions raise the price of pot to the point where few people could afford a 2 joint/day habit, andf the risk of arrest further discourages consumption. If Marlboro's cost $50 / pack how many people would even smoke a half pack / day? OTOH if marijuana were completely legal and the price dropped to $ 2 for a pack of twenty What do you think would happen to marijuana consumption? My guess is that it would sky-rocket and we'd plainly see within a few years a new health crisis.

In the first place, a 2 joint a day habit for an adult is excessive. Some kid that doesn't do ****, you don't expect much from most of them.
An adult that works and has commitments is not going to be smoking two joints a day.
In the second place, you're paying too much.

Maybe, one day, people will look back on this war on drugs as a total failure that did much to stimulate organised crime. Prohibition of alcohol didn't work, except for making organised crime a major growth industry. Perhaps marijuana should be legalised and taxed in much the same way as tobacco and alcohol? I am inclined to think so.
I dislike drugs but if somebody wants to puff some Mary-Jane that is none of my business in much the same way as it is my business if I want to have a drink and a cigarette. (I have objections to legalising crack and heroin though).

Do you believe that it is appropriate for marijuana to be a schedule I drug?

One, growing pot isn't honest work. Only a pothead would think so. Two, how can you blame me for what crminals do? You're the one who is to blame for buying their product. Why do you fund the drug war if you are so opposed to it?

I suppose potheads earn less money, because they miss more work and lose more jobs because they aren't as productive. Is there any research that indicates that using marijuana decreases you mental focus and physical strength for at least a day afterwards?

Everyone I've ever met who even smokes one joint a day is pretty much worthless. Sorry, it's just true.
Somehow that doesn't surprise me.
Sadly, the source is meaningless.

No, the thing is, he knows worthy people, but he doesn't know they smoke.
