Top 3 rap songs on the billboard charts... 'Niggas in Paris' by Jay-Z and Kanye West, 'Dance' by Big Sean and Nicki Minaj, and 'Make me Proud' by Drake and Nicki Minaj. Sex and materialism yes but not a single reference to violence in any of those songs.
And that's even assuming that music could motivate criminal behavior."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

I believe he was actually suggesting that listening to terrible, terrible "music" kills off the parts of your brain responsible for civilized behavior such as chess and not killing people.

"The Queen can move in all direction," eh? See, it also kills the part of your brain that says "don't pretend to know chess by copying chess instructions from a manual written by a barely-conversant Chinese person."

Something tells me you didn't watch the video. Like you never saw a typo before. Typos in uploaded youtube videos become impossible to fix because you have to change the text in the original video then upload it anew.

If their brains were functioning they would have watched the video before uploading it to make sure everything was done correctly."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

Their? It's a dude. He made a rap about chess. Maybe you should watch it because it's a cool and entertaining video, instead of just hating would you don't understand. This guy does a lot of other interesting rap songs (like one about solving a rubik's cube). Expand your mind, *******.

I've been doing it wrong all these years. After watching that chess rap video I now know that if you take an opponent's piece you get another turn (sometimes), pawns can move 3 times in a row ... black seems to move first ... also that river rhymes with delivered.

I do like how they have tables in public parks with chess boards already built into them. You meet some cool and interesting people playing chess in public parks.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

And river is an imperfect rhyme with delivered. I don't know the terminology but it's between a perfect rhyme and assonance/consonance."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
