Donegeal, your comments got me worried so I talked to my sgt. He stated that I'm good to go ae long as I remove myself from the situation and make sure people don't have drugs on them when they are around me, especially if they are in the car with me. In short, he said I did the right thing for that situation. I respect your knowledge and I hope that if I have future concerns I may be able too talk too you offline. What can make a nigga wanna fight a whole night club/Figure that he ought to maybe be a pimp simply 'cause he don't like love/What can make a nigga wanna achy, break all rules/In a book when it took a lot to get you hooked up to this volume/

I never said to arrest anyone. Confiscating the drugs and turning them over to the local PD is what I was thinking. Fill out report about what establishment it was being served at. However, just leaving the area and letting your supervisor know is as you did is probably ok also, especilly if you are encouraged not to police off duty.Founder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!

i think we should get together and fund a nationwide campaign where kidicious explains why MJ should remain illegal. once people have heard his arguments, and the intelligent way he expresses them, we'll have it legalised in no time."The Christian way has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found to be hard and left untried" - GK Chesterton.

I firmly believe that if there wasn't issues of properly detecting driving under the influence, it would be legal and regulated like booze. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Cops can tell if you're under the influence. There are things like involuntary eye movements and slurred or hesitant speech. Combined with footage from a dashboard camera and a sympathetic judge, it's not really an issue.
After all, people can't drive on ambiens or percocets either. And it's not like cops can't tell when you're on prescription drugs.John Brown did nothing wrong.

Most states differ on how they handle it when fatalities are involved. In some states, like Illinois, any trace in your system brings higher charges, even if you weren't impeded at the time of the accident. You could have gotten a contact high a few weeks prior at a rock concert and you're treated the same as if you were smoking just prior to driving. (which in my opinion is very wrong)
In other states they have to prove that you were impeded, which has proven to be a problem, mainly because cops may suspect but can't prove it.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

I don't think that pot is linked to nearly as many traffic fatalities per mile driven as alcohol. Alcohol is liquid courage; it encourages aggression, and aggressive driving is dangerous driving. Pot makes people paranoid, and it distorts perception to make people think they're moving faster than they really are. Pot doesn't make you a safer driver than being sober, but it's definitely less dangerous than alcohol.John Brown did nothing wrong.

It's hardly linked unless you're in a state like Illinois where any trace in your system makes it linked. If they had a reasonable test like the breath test for booze, a lot of objections would be removed. Every time I'm sat in a muni discussion when attempting to decriminalize it, driving under the influence and fairly detecting it is usually the main focus. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. solution:
legalize it, make legalized pot have some trace 'thing' which can be traced (but that leaves the system 'quickly')
if you have the tracer, you are 'impaired'
